history

Artic Truck Parts and Service began in Edmonton in 1981 as Artic Gear Components, and had expanded to three other locations including Calgary. In 1993 the assets of the company were sold to Inchcape Berhad (Singapore). Shortly after the purchase by Inchcape the name was changed to Artic Truck Parts and Service.

Artic was now a family member with two USA truck part companies, four in South East Asia, and Pacific Truck in Canada. Inchcape divested their holdings in Canada, selling both Artic and Pacific Truck to CCI Corporation in 1995. Crane Carrier’s ownership to date has assisted Artic Truck to grow, expand and prosper. The New Vehicle Division, Canada Powertrain, Pacific Truck, and Blue Water Atlantic Equipment Sales and Service, plus 142 companies in the US have added to Artic’s ability to meet the parts and service expectations of their clients throughout Western Canada.
